"Todd Spencer"
Todd Spencer is Executive Vice President of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, (OOIDA), Grain Valley Missouri.
Todd began his career in trucking as an employee-driver in 1974.  In 1976, he purchased a truck and became an owner-operated trucker leased to a motor carrier.  In 1978, Todd was elected to OOIDA Board of Directors.  In 1981, Todd sold his two trucks and assumed the role as Editor of the Associations's magazine, LAND LINE and communications Director of OOIDA.  In 1992, Todd was elected to his current position as Executive Vice President.
Todd has testified before various committees in the U.S. Congress on trucking issues.  Todd has served on various committees of the Commercial Vehicle Alliance (CVSA) as an industry representative as well as serving as an industry advisor to the Federal Motor Safety Administration and National Safety Board.
